NIXY Newport G4 10’6 glides well through the water and fairly well in terms of speed.
Compared to other boards, its top speed is a little bit slower than the iROCKER All-Around 11′.
- STABILITY
For beginners around 150 lbs, this board is fairly stable.
The larger you are, the more experience you need to have to stay stable.
- TRACKING
Due to the well-positioned fins, NIXY Newport G4 10’6 tracks fairly well even under speed.
- MANEUVERABILITY
With its lighter weight of just 21 lbs and its slightly shorter length, this board is quite maneuverable and easy to change directions on.

Starting by what I liked most, this kit paddle is carbon fiber, making it amongst the best overall SUP paddles.
The paddle has little to no twist throughout the paddle and is adjustable, making it usable by different-height paddlers and lightweight at only 25 oz, which helps a lot at paddling way longer before being tired.
The bag easily fits the board and all accessories. Its wide opening makes getting the board in and out simple.
It’s also comfortable to carry with its extra padding on the back and on the shoulder straps.
The included Typhoon hand pump is a double-chamber, triple-action pump makes inflates the board to the recommended air pressure with no problem, even for smaller individuals.
Another great thing about the thing pump is its feet’ ability to fold up and unscrew the handles for easy storing.
You also get a safety leash and a repair kit.

Compared to other paddle boards, NIXY Newport G4 10’6 glide quite well.
Due to its width of 34”, this board isn’t fast and not much efficient through the water.
- STABILITY
NIXY Venice G4 10’6 is ultra-stable for cruising, fitness activities, paddling with a kid or pet, or fishing. And it remains the same for about any sized adult due to its wider width of 34”.
- TRACKING
NIXY Venice G4 10’6 is good at keeping a straight line on the water. But tracking is something that has more to do with the paddler than the board.
Smaller paddlers may have some difficulties paddling vertically to the board due to the board width of 34”.
- MANEUVERABILITY
The short length of this board makes it has great maneuverability even for most novice paddlers.
- PORTABILITY
This board doesn’t feel cumbersome to carry or transport because it’s very light at only 23 lbs and rolls up into a compact package.

STABILITY
A SUP board with a volume of twice your weight in kg will be pretty stable because 1 liter of volume will float 1kg of weight.
BOARD WIDTH
For all-around use, get an inflatable SUP board between 30” – 35” in width.
PADDLE
The lighter the paddle you use the less tired you will feel while paddling.
The material used in the shaft affects a lot the weight of the paddle.
- Carbon is known to be lightweight, strong, and gives more distance per stroke.
- Aluminum, which is found usually in affordable paddle boards is rigid but makes the paddle heavy.

Since I am more on recreational paddling, I prefer the NIXY Newport G4 10’6.
